Meet
the CEO
of Rock-N-Roll

As
appearing the June
2004 issue of Weston Lifestyles
Magazine, in located in Weston, Florida.
Over twenty-five years ago, Jeffrey Greene,
CEO of Party Time DJs, had a bad case
of Disco fever. At thirteen years old
he began competing in South Florida Disco
dance contests and won continually against
even adult competitors. To his surprise,
he was invited to compete on the television
show Dance Fever, and Jeffrey, teamed
with his sister, became the first teenager
on the show to make it to the finals.
With music in his blood, he just couldn't
stop. At the end of ninth grade, class
parties turned out to be one disco dance
contest after the other with Jeffrey being
the MC. With his passion for entertainment,
Disco DJ was born and his life-long career
was launched. During high school he went
solo as a DJ at a house party and it has
been a never-ending story. Jeffrey did
every celebration in town, and being the
only DJ in the area and one of the first
twenty DJ entertainment companies to incorporate
in the state of Florida, business was
more than he ever imagined.
He was more than a DJ spinning records,
and being the MC he was able to use the
microphone and highlight his qualities
as an entertainer and dancer, as well
as control the parties. As stated by Jeffrey,
"the music was secondary to the ability
to engage an audience." The phrase
"human juke box," coined by
Jeffrey, is now recognized by the DJ industry
as "one who pushes buttons."
He never wanted to be known as that and
with the energy that he produces at every
event it is obvious that he is doing much
more. Jeffrey became known as a true entertainer
and the demand for his services was tremendous.
He began to play for many bands during
their breaks at events while continuing
to MC his own functions. While attending
college in England, he was playing with
music by taking classes and working as
a DJ in various clubs.
The music continued after college, as
Jeffery began to manage recording artists
and Party Time DJ's continued to grow.
Sound and lighting was next on his list
and he formed a company to provide this
to various live festivals and events.
Wedding shows became popular and bookings
began to skyrocket. Jeffrey added photography
and video services and Party Time DJs
has become one of the top DJ entertainment
companies in America. Currently Jeffrey
hosts several national DJ conference groups
and has been hired to share experiences
and train DJs around the nation. With
the demand, Party Time DJs can provide
services for twenty-five events each weekend.
Since his wife Debbi joined the business
and became President, their growth has
been astounding. According to Jeffrey,
"there is no better partner than
someone you can totally trust. We complement
each other in our business experiences
and leadership while the end result has
been a successful business spanning twenty-five
years." Other than having Debbi by
his side, his greatest accomplishments
are their two children, Victoria and Sam.
They are showing an interest, especially
Victoria, in the business and- who knows?-
maybe some day they will be celebrating
their fiftieth anniversary. But for now,
Happy Twenty-Fifth Anniversary to Jeffrey
Greene, the Chief Entertainment Officer
(CEO) of Party Time DJs.
